BP Auto-Post — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. Overview

BP Auto-Post (“the app”) is a private tool operated by Benjamin Preston that publishes his own short-form videos to his own TikTok account via TikTok’s Content Posting API. This policy explains what data the app handles.

2. Data the app uses

  • TikTok access token and open ID: obtained through TikTok’s OAuth flow to authenticate the owner’s account and post on it.
  • Basic profile info (user.info.basic): the connected account’s open ID, display name, and avatar, used only to confirm the correct destination account before posting.
  • Video files and post metadata: the owner’s own videos, captions, and post settings that are uploaded to TikTok.

3. How data is used

Data is used only to upload and publish the owner’s own content to his own TikTok account. The app does not sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Data storage

Access tokens are stored securely and used only to call TikTok’s APIs. Tokens can be revoked at any time from the owner’s TikTok account settings, which ends the app’s access.

5. Third parties

The app communicates only with TikTok’s official APIs. No other third-party services receive account data.

6. Changes
